Maui Ag Design Conference Report - Forty plus gathered for four days in August 2010 to map a future for local food growing. Organized by Maui Aloha ʻAina and funded by Maui County.  Description of the Network of Networks.  Led to development of HI Farmers Union, and work researching local stock exchanges.

Michael Shuman - Economist and attorney focusing on community based development. Speaker at Maui Ag Design Conference - affiliated with Cutting Edge Capital and Mission Markets.


Ulupono Initiative  - Investing in sustainability with a focus on Hawaii.


Kohala Center - based on the West side of the Island of Hawaii, this group has education programs on co-ops, food hubs, and most recently partnered with the peer to peer funding organization KIVA.
